this term we have made great progress as a band. although we had some difficulties at the start of the year we managed to come back together and carry on working well and improving week by week. the songs we are learning are reasonably difficult to play as a band so this creates a lot more rehearsal time for us and helps us connect more musically. there are still many times where we struggle as our styles of playing are pretty different to each other. my guitar playing and toby's drumming does often sound smooth and professional together though so we try to just play off the top as much as we can in between rehearsals.
